Dr. Klonsky is the President of ISSS. Dr Klonsky is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia. His research interests include non-suicidal self-injury, suicide, borderline personality disorder, and emotional dysregulation. Dr. Klonsky is Associate Editor of the Journal of Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior, author of the book Non-Suicidal Self-Injury (along with Drs. Jennifer Muehlenkamp, Stephen Lewis, and Barent Walsh) published by Hogrefe, and his research has been recognized by several organizations including the Society for Clinical Psychology, American Psychological Foundation, and the Association for Psychological Science.
